Mbofho Mbodi
Mrs Lorraine Mbodi is a development planner, trainer, and strategist, with core competence and experience in institutional development, business strategy, value chain development, rural development, and microfinance.
Lorraine holds a degree in Financial Accounting from Midrand Graduate Institute. She brings with her more than 10 years of working experience in the Petrolium, Publishing and Hospitality industries. She was featured in the Pride News for her active involvement in the Kalahari Institute of Entrepreneurship and Governance which focus on training graduates with a difference. Lorraine was appointed CFO for APA (Association of African Publishers organisation) where she developed functional maps, skills standards, and assessment plans for the National Learning Curriculum.
She has been a success factor in numerous construction projects in Limpopo and Gauteng. In 2019, she started a new business unit to provide training and consultancy services in competency-based human capital management. This is with the objective of championing the adoption of a holistic competency HR framework for organizational success. Through her leadership, Kalahari Group of Companies has established itself a reputed training and consultancy firm providing high quality competency-based training programs and consultancy services.
Mrs Mbodi is currently serving in the board of directors as an independent non-executive chairwoman at the Thulwe Development Trust (TDT) and within this organization, Lorraine stands by building better solutions, superior design, key partnerships, and a stable financial basis on which MCM is founded.
